Representatives of Serbian organizations in Albania at the inauguration of the President of Serbia

On the occasion of the taking on duty of the newly-elected President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, following his invitation, representatives of the organizations of the Serbian minority in Albania – Pavlo Brajovic, president of the association “Moraca-Rozafa” and Simo Ajkovic, president of the Orthodox association “St. Jovan Vladimir” – attended the ceremony of the inauguration of the President of the Republic of Serbia, which was organized in the Palace of Serbia on June 23rd.
Delegations and top officials from 40 countries of the world attended this ceremony. Among the most prominent representatives, we can mention the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn, who said that under the leadership of the new President, Serbia will continue to move towards a successful path in the field of European integration. Also, US Secretary of State Deputy Assistant and one of the highest officials at this ceremony, Hoyt Bryan Ji, assessed this event as very important. He expressed expectations of continuing cooperation to make the situation in the region more stable and safer.
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic in his welcoming speech emphasized that Serbia has changed and does not dream of hostilities anymore and only wants peace. He said that Serbia will continue to build bridges of friendship and peace with all neighbors and friends. He called on all Balkan peoples to work together for the better future and to strengthen co-operation in all plans.
Serbian Associations in Albania send the warmest congratulations to the newly elected President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, with the desire of improving inter-country communication on the improvement of the rights and freedoms of Serbs living in Albania as well as in other Balkan countries.
