Assembly of the Serbia-Albania Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tirana


In Tirana, on November 23, 2017, took place the first assembly of the joint Serbia-Albania Chamber of Commerce  which, besides numerous entrepreneurs was attended also by representatives of relevant ministries from both countries.

More than 100 business people and 41 Serbian companies participated in the Panair 2017 fair in Tirana, where they exhibited their products and services in the field of agriculture and food industry, construction and mechanical engineering, chemical and electrical industry, textiles, pharmacy and so on.

In his speech, the president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Čadež, pointed out,the volume of trade exchange between Albania and Serbia increased by one third compared to last year, but the number of joint ventures and joint ventures also increased, and that is certainly can be credited also to this joint chamber. While the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Serbia, Goran Knezevic, emphasized the important role mutual visits by officials of both countries  played in such increase and the additional incentive for economic co-operation which is expected by the construction of the Niš-Pristina highway.

Albania’s Minister for the Protection of Entrepreneurship, Sonila Cato, pointed out that Serbian and Albanian businessmen can come together in conquering of new markets, and a special contribution to this will be made by this assembly.
