Serbian language courses in Shkodra for 2014


As announced, on march 1st in Shkodra were resumed the Serbian language courses for the seventh year in a row.

In the classrooms of the Association “Moraca-Rozafa” was held the opening ceremony of the Serbian language courses for the members of the Serbian- Montenegrin minority in Albania and not only. These courses are frequented also by several Albanian people who voluntarily chose to sign-in and the associations staff supports their will in the name of good co-existence and strengthening of relations with the majority population.
The opening ceremony was attended by the course participants, their parents and activists of the Association “Moraca-Rozafa”.
The opening speech of the course was held by the President of the Association Mr. Pavlo Jakoja (Brajović), who thanked the students and parents at the large turnout and wished them much success in mastering their mother tongue.
The students of the course of the Serbian language were also welcomed by the professor of the course Mr. Svetozar Ćiraković who wished to all the attendants success in learning the Serbian language.
The main financial support for the continuation of the courses provided by the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the region and the Metropolis of Montenegro, which has been supporting the activities of the Association “Moraca-Rozafa for seven years in a row.
By the starting day, about 60 students had signed in and were divided into five groups. The organizers of the course allocate classes by two groups of classes will follow on Friday afternoon, and the other three groups, classes are held on Saturday. Classes for each group will last 60 minutes.
